About Food Testing Laboratory
The Food Testing Laboratory in Food Park at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex has been established under the Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDC).
This Laboratory has been Accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), an Autonomous Body Under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, vide Certificate no. T-3665, issued on 26/10/2015 and valid till 25/10/2017 and which is the first NABL accredited Food Testing Laboratory in the North-East India.
Fees allocated for testing Food Samples
The Fees structure for testing different food samples at the Food Testing Laboratory at Food Park as follows:-
• The analysis fees of imported food samples @ Rs.3000.00(Rupees Three Thousands) only per samples which includes applicable Service Tax.
• The analysis fees of food samples of Government Department/Government Agencies/Private Organizations are @ Rs.950.00(Rupees Nine Hundred and Fifty) only per sample which includes Service Tax.
The fees is to be deposited in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Managing Director, TIDC Ltd or Cash. Government Department/ Government Agencies may deposit in the form of A/C Payee Cheques also in favour of Managing Director, TIDC Ltd. Fees are however subject to change any time as per decision of the Authority.
